Hyderabad witnessed a memorable weekend of music and classical dance as Vedom Art successfully hosted two back-to-back sold-out performances at Shilpakala Vedika on June 13 and 14, marking the launch of its India chapter.

The celebrations began with “Timeless,” a musical concert featuring singer Sunitha Upadrasta. The event showcased the evolution of Telugu film music, covering classics from the Bhanumathi era to contemporary chartbusters. A special highlight was the recreation of songs from the iconic film Mayabazar, with children from the television show Padutha Theeyaga performing legendary scenes that evoked nostalgia among the audience. The concert also paid tribute to the late S.P. Balasubrahmanyam and concluded with an energetic musical medley of songs associated with actor Pawan Kalyan. Singers Srikrishna, Sahithi Chaganti and Dhanunjay also performed.

On June 14, Padma Bhushan awardee Shobana and her ensemble presented “BHAV,” a Bharatanatyam production blending classical dance, storytelling and music. The packed auditorium reflected growing public interest in curated cultural performances.
