Vijaya Rajam, Managing Director of the Telugu daily Vijaya Kranti and former trustee of the Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy Devasthanam in Vemulawada—often referred to as the “Dakshina Kashi”, visited the temple and offered special pujas to Lord Bhimeshwara Swamy on Sunday. The visit was marked by traditional rituals and temple honors. The temple priests offered Vedic blessings at the Ashirvachana Mandapam.
The Executive Officer of the temple Ramadevi presented sacred offerings including the deity’s silk cloth (shesha vastram) and laddoo prasadam to Vijay Rajam. Speaking on the occasion, Vijaya Rajam said she prayed for the well-being of the people of the state, wishing them peace, prosperity, health and longevity with the divine blessings of Lord Bhimeshwara Swamy.
She also expressed hope that the spiritual significance of the Vemulawada temple town would continue to grow, attracting an increasing number of devotees each day. She further wished for the continued development of the temple and called for improved facilities for pilgrims to ensure a more comfortable and seamless darshan experience for visiting devotees.
