Visvesvaraya College of Engineering & Technology (VCET) organized a National Service Scheme (NSS) activity on Friday in collaboration with the communities of Pocharam and Eliminedu villages, with the objective of promoting cleanliness, public health, social responsibility, and community participation. As part of the program, NSS student volunteers actively participated in a cleanliness drive at the temple premises in Pocharam village and the Health Care Centre in Eliminedu village. The students enthusiastically took part in cleaning activities, spreading awareness about hygiene, and highlighting the importance of maintaining clean and healthy surroundings.

The program provided students with an opportunity to understand their social responsibilities and contribute towards community welfare through meaningful service activities. The activity was successfully organized under the guidance and coordination of HOD – Mechanical Engineering, A. Venu, along with the active support and participation of other faculty members.  The initiative reflects VCET's commitment to "Not Me, But You", the motto of NSS, and its continued efforts to develop socially responsible citizens through community engagement and service.
