Warangal CP reviews Bharosa Centre services

Warangal Police Commissioner N. Shwetha, IPS, paid a surprise visit to the Bharosa Centre at Rangampet on Monday and reviewed the services being provided to victims.

During the inspection, the Commissioner assessed the counselling, legal aid, medical assistance, psychological support and rehabilitation services offered at the centre. She held a review meeting with officials and directed them to receive every victim with empathy and dignity, understand their concerns thoroughly and ensure prompt access to justice.

Shwetha stressed that the Bharosa Centre, which provides integrated support services to women, children and other victims under one roof, should become more accessible to the public. She instructed officials to ensure speedy and quality disposal of cases through effective coordination among all concerned departments. The Commissioner also emphasised the need to maintain the highest standards of confidentiality while extending all necessary assistance to victims during the legal and rehabilitation process.

Crime Additional DCP Balaswamy, ACP Sadayya, Bharosa Centre Inspector Suvarna, Women Police Station-I Inspector Suryaprasad, Bharosa SI Kiranmayi, counsellors and other staff members were present during the inspection.
