Medchal-Malkajgiri District Collector Manu Choudary has directed Booth Level Officers (BLOs) to expedite the distribution and collection of Enumeration Forms under the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, while ensuring accuracy and timely completion of the exercise.

On Monday, the Collector, along with Zonal Commissioner Pinkesh Kumar, inspected the SIR operations at the Subhash Nagar Ward Office in Quthbullapur Assembly constituency. Reviewing the progress, he instructed BLOs to take complete responsibility for distributing forms, collecting the duly filled applications, and assisting voters throughout the process. He said officials should patiently clarify voters' doubts and create awareness on the correct method of filling the forms to prevent errors and delays.

Emphasising the importance of efficient processing, Manu Choudary directed officials to digitise the completed forms immediately after collection. He also instructed BLOs to submit details of voters who were unavailable during field visits to their supervisors so that follow-up action could be taken without delay. The Collector reviewed the daily targets assigned to BLOs and offered guidance on improving the pace of the exercise.

Later, he visited Kompally to inspect the enumeration and digitisation process. Interacting directly with voters, the Collector resolved their queries, explained the form-filling procedure, and urged them to cooperate with officials to ensure the successful completion of the SIR exercise within the stipulated timeline.
