Yashoda Hospitals-Hitech City hosted a 2-day international conference & live workshop on “Unilateral Biportal Endoscopy” on 5th and 6th of December. This event was inaugurated by senior badminton player& coach Pullela Gopichand along with Managing Director of Yashoda Hospitals Group, Dr. G. S. Rao. Speaking on the occasion, Gopichand said that sports injuries, especially those related to spinal chord and low back pain(LBP) are common among Indian athletes and at the same time a cause of concern.

Yashoda Group Hospitals MD Dr. G. S. Rao opined that the area of minimally invasive spine surgery, which is modernizing and expanding its scope, has become a platform for sharing medical knowledge among medical professionals from different countries to focus on the latest innovations in medical science. He appreciated Dr. Balarajasekhar Chandra,   for his expertise in UBE (Unilateral Biportal Endoscopy) for performing thousands of complex spine surgeries with excellent results. 

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Balarajasekhar Chandra described “Global UBE Con-2025” as not just a conference but as a platform to make minimally invasive spine surgery accessible to patients across the globe in a precise and safe manner. He stated that the event’s aim is to empower surgeons with the most advanced skills related to endoscopic spine surgery through practical and observation-based learning.
