In a move towards providing quality education aligned with international standards, the Telangana government has undertaken the construction of Young India Integrated Residential Schools, said Khammam District Collector Anudeep Durishetty on Wednesday .The District Collector visited the construction site of the Young India Integrated Residential School at Ponekal in Khammam Rural Mandal. He conducted a detailed inspection of the ongoing works, reviewed the quality of construction and examined the building layout maps on the ground.
Collector Anudeep directed officials to take measures to ensure uninterrupted power supply, proper internal roads and linkage facilities at the Young India Integrated Gurukuls so that there are no infrastructural hurdles once the schools become operational. Speaking on the occasion, the District Collector emphasized that the initiative aims to create an education system that benefits prepares students to compete on the global stage.
The collector informed that five such Young India Integrated Gurukuls have been sanctioned in Khammam district and construction is currently underway in all of them. He instructed officials to complete all works by the next academic year so that the schools can be made available to students without delay.
