YouTuber Ramanandana questioned in visa fraud case

Popular YouTuber Ramanandana has landed in trouble following allegations of cheating people by collecting money on the promise of arranging visas and overseas employment, with another visa fraud case being registered against her in Prakasam district. Ramanandana appeared before the Ibrahimpatnam police along with her lawyers for questioning in connection with a visa cheating case registered at the police station. The case was registered based on a complaint by Kranthi Kumar, who alleged that Ramanandana and her husband collected Rs.13 lakh from him after promising to arrange a job abroad but failed to fulfil the promise.

Police had reportedly issued notices directing her to appear for questioning immediately after her return to Hyderabad from the UK. She subsequently appeared before the investigating officers along with her legal team. The developments have gained further attention following the registration of another case against Ramanandana at the Addanki police station in Prakasam district. According to the allegations in the second case, victims were allegedly lured through a consultancy operating under the name ‘Destiny Consultancy’ with promises of visa renewals and Certificates of Sponsorship for overseas employment.

The victims alleged that substantial amounts of money were collected from them in 2023 but the promised services were not provided. With cases now being registered in different police stations, more alleged victims are reportedly coming forward. Ramanandana is said to have asked the victims to approach the Ibrahimpatnam police station, following which several complainants from Hyderabad as well as Addanki have reportedly reached the police station. 

Police are questioning Ramanandana in connection with the allegations and are expected to examine the complaints, financial transactions and other relevant material as part of the investigation. The allegations remain under investigation, and the registration of cases or questioning does not by itself establish guilt.
