The actor, known for being extremely selective about his work and mindful of cultural sensitivities, was last seen on the big screens in Laal Singh Chadha with Kareena Kapoor Khan. Bollywood actor Aamir Khan's team has issued an official statement addressing a viral poster that falsely depicted the actor as Guru Nanak Dev ji. On Monday, the poster went viral on social media platforms, however, Aamir's spokesperson revealed that it is 'fake'.
Setting the record straight, the spokesperson said, "The poster showing Aamir Khan as Guru Nanak is completely fake and AI-generated. Aamir Khan has no connection to any such project. He holds the highest respect for Guru Nanak and would never be part of anything disrespectful. Please don't fall for fake news." The clarification comes after screenshots and edited images began doing the rounds, misleading many into believing that Aamir was involved in a film related to Guru Nanak.
In fact, an Instagram page shared a video and claimed that it is the teaser of the film. They also stated in the caption that the film will also star actress Kareena Kapoor Khan.
