Kajol revealed the face of the actress, at the event where The Free Press Journal was present

At the reveal of 'Who is Tanvi The Great' from Anupam Kher's upcoming movie Tanvi The Great, Kher started off the event by observing 1 minute of silence for the Pahalgam terror attack victims.  Post that, he spoke about what made him direct his second film after such a long time. 

"It took me 23 years to direct this film. Om Jai Jagdish was the first film which i directed, but the idea wasn't mine. I said i will only make a film if it touches my heart and the world's heart. I found the story 4 years back, when i had a conversation with someone who is special, and then i found people who are brillaint in their art," Anupam explained. 

Speaking about Kajol as junior to him, but better than him as an actor, Kher asked her to come on stage. Kajol, who had been the one to introduce Tanvi, said she feels that Kher is the most  mentally fit man and he's doing everything which all of us try to do in our lifetime. 

And why did he choose Kajol? Because 'she doesn't take herself too seriously. ' And then, after playing the first teaser, they played the second teaser which revealed the face of the debut actress playing Tanvi- Shubhangi. 

The lights went out, a standee started revolving and through a fog we finally saw the actress playing Tanvi. Infront of us was a a girl in a brown shawl and long skirt and the same pink shoes with untied laces which she wears in the trailer. Through the trailer we notice Tanvi as a sweet, innocent girl, who probably has a social anxiety disorder or OCD, because of which she thinks twice before crossing the threshold of her house, but that's just an assumption, once the trailer is out we shall know for sure. 

Shubhangi, speaking at her first press conference said that she had to go off social media and not do any other projects during the shooting of this film. Interestingly, being the social media enthusiast he is, Kher took a pause to upload his latest Insta post, but he had to postpone it till after the event due to the lack of network. 

This journalist asked Kher during the press conference if there were any stressors while directing a film. It is then that he revealed that he shall be  releasing a book on how the movie almost never got made, which shall be revealed before the official trailer.
