Actress breaks silence on suicide case

Actress Krishi Thapanda appeals for privacy following Vaishak's death, asking the public to stop rumours and respect grieving families.

Kannada actress Krishi Thapanda has broken her silence following the death of businessman and close friend Vaishak, sharing an emotional note on social media and urging people to stop spreading speculation. 

According to reports, Vaishak died by suicide at the apartment where Krishi lived, though the actress was reportedly away attending a meditation programme near Mahadevapura at the time. 

In her statement, Krishi said she never imagined having to speak publicly during such a painful phase and revealed that she had lost someone who meant a great deal to her.  She said the constant rumours and questions directed at her, her friends and both families forced her to address the situation. 

Requesting privacy for everyone grieving the loss, Krishi urged the public and media to show compassion and allow Vaishak’s loved ones to mourn with dignity. She also thanked well-wishers for their support and disabled comments on her Instagram post.
