Artificial Intelligence (AI) will play a crucial role in improving the quality of education by helping teachers adapt to rapidly changing technologies, said retired IAS officer and former State Election Commissioner C. Parthasarathi.
He was speaking as the Chief Guest at a workshop titled ‘Artificial Intelligence for Better Learning’, organized by the district administration at the collectorate auditorium in Karimnagar on Wednesday. A total of 330 mathematics, physics and biology teachers from 98 government schools across the district participated in the program.
Parthasarathi said that effective use of AI could make classroom teaching easier, more engaging and interesting for students. Recalling his association with Karimnagar district, Parthasarathi said that during his tenure as District Collector, he had made efforts to promote the overall development of the district, with particular emphasis on improving the education sector. District Collector Chitra Mishra said teachers must continuously update their teaching methods to keep pace with changing times.
She further highlighted the importance of providing students at the secondary, intermediate and degree levels with deeper knowledge of artificial intelligence. Such exposure, she said, would help prepare students to meet the challenges and opportunities of an increasingly technology-driven world.
