Hyderabad: In the recently held state Telangana Arya Vysya Mahasabha elections, Amaravadi Lakshminarayana secured victory by a margin of six votes. Speaking on the occasion, he expressed his gratitude to all those who exercised their right to vote. Referring to the Vasavi Bhavan located in Chintal Basti, he noted that Telangana holds 40% rights while Andhra Pradesh Arya Vysya Mahasabha holds 60% rights. He expressed his intention to acquire the remaining 60% share and construct a new and improved structure.
He also mentioned plans to construct a revenue-generating building on the five acres of land allotted by the state government at Uppal Bhagayat. He urged everyone to work together and showcase the unity, service spirit and social responsibility of the Arya Vysya community to Telangana society. On this occasion, Amaravadi Lakshminarayana also announced that scholarships would be provided to poor Arya Vysya students across Telangana.
