At a grand ceremony marking the launch and foundation stone laying for 29 national highway projects worth Rs.5,233 crore, Andhra Pradesh Health Minister Satya Kumar Yadav highlighted the state’s growing momentum in infrastructure development under the leadership of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and with the active support of the NDA government at the Centre.

Speaking at the CK Convention Centre in Mangalagiri, where Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and other senior ministers were present, Yadav expressed gratitude for the Centre’s collaboration. “It is a moment of pride for Andhra Pradesh to witness the launch of 87 km of highway projects worth Rs.2,852 crore and the foundation of 27 new projects covering 185 km at a cost of Rs.2,381 crore. This is not just development, it is a declaration of commitment,” Yadav said.

He lauded Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s visionary leadership in getting support from the centre and projects that pave path for State development. “Today’s event is more than just a milestone for infrastructure, it’s a testament to the Centre’s confidence in the vision of our Chief Minister. This partnership is not about politics; it’s about progress,” he stated.

Taking a direct swipe at the opposition, Yadav criticized their recent attempts to mislead the public. “While we are working day and night to rebuild the state and create opportunities, the opposition is busy spreading misinformation and indulging in theatrics. Their only agenda is to stall progress and create confusion among people,” he said.

Highlighting the state’s achievements across various sectors, the Minister pointed to improvements in health services, digital governance, welfare schemes, and industrial investment. “Be it education, health, or employment, the results are visible. People are experiencing the difference,” he asserted.

He also praised the proactive role of the Centre, especially Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Ministers, in extending timely support to Andhra Pradesh. “From approvals to financial backing, the Centre has stood by us at every step. This unity of purpose is why Andhra Pradesh is becoming a national model for development,” Yadav said.
