Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will meet top actors, producers, and prominent film personalities on June 15 (Sunday) at 4 PM at his residence in Undavalli. The meeting is aimed at fostering collaboration between the government and the Telugu film industry. Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan is also expected to attend.

The Chief Minister has already stated that his government is committed to supporting the film industry and ensuring collective cooperation for its development. The meeting comes at a time when there has been visible disconnect between the state government and major industry figures.

Last month, Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan strongly criticised the lack of engagement from the Telugu film industry. He noted that despite the government’s willingness to grant industry status and uphold the dignity of film professionals, the industry has not reciprocated with basic courtesy. He questioned why no prominent representatives had met CM Naidu even once since the formation of the NDA government a year ago.
