Marking one year of the coalition government in Andhra Pradesh, Minister for Education and IT, Nara Lokesh, declared that welfare and development are the twin wheels of governance under Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s leadership.
Speaking at a press meet in Undavalli, Lokesh said, “It’s been a year since democracy won, and a people-centric government took charge. We are moving decisively from past chaos to sustainable development.” He described the State-Centre partnership as a “Double Engine Sarkar,” led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and CM Naidu.
Highlighting job creation, Lokesh cited the Mega DSC recruitment of 16,347 teaching posts, undeterred by 24 legal challenges—all dismissed by the Supreme Court. He also noted Rs. 9.5 lakh crore in investment proposals and 8.5 lakh job opportunities within a year.
Andhra Pradesh now leads in domestic investments, securing 16% of the national share.
