In a bid to enhance its logistics services and cater to the growing demands of the public, the Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) has announced a significant expansion of its parcel delivery services. Effective from this Friday, the initiative aims to bolster connectivity and convenience for customers across the state, where parcels are door delivered.

APSRTC, which has been offering parcel delivery services since 2017, will now operate in 80 additional towns and key centers. This expansion is set to provide seamless parcel transportation services round the clock, enabling individuals and businesses to send and receive goods efficiently.

As part of this initiative, APSRTC Logistics has committed to accepting parcels weighing up to 50 kilograms. In this regard, the officials initiated a special drive which will run for a month, from December 20, 2024, to January 19, 2025, allowing customers to avail themselves of this service at competitive rates.

Also, to ensure  APSRTC has released a detailed tariff structure based on parcel weight and distance.

This competitive pricing is expected to attract both individual customers and small businesses looking for reliable and cost-effective logistics solutions.

Customers can utilize this service by visiting their nearest APSRTC office or logistics center. The corporation has assured that its staff is well-equipped to handle parcels with care and ensure timely delivery.

The district regional manager of APSRTC emphasized the corporation’s commitment to public welfare and connectivity, stating, “This expansion is part of our continuous efforts to serve the public better. We aim to provide reliable, affordable, and efficient parcel delivery services that meet the needs of both urban and rural communities.”
