Minister for Minorities Welfare Mohammed Azharuddin on Monday launched the official TGMREIS website for admissions for the academic year 2026–27. The launch was held at the Minister’s chambers in the presence of TGMREIS Vice Chairman and President Mohammed Faheemuddin Qureshi and B. Shafiullah, IFS, Secretary to Government, Minorities Welfare and TGMREIS.
The website has been introduced to receive online applications for admissions into Class V and Intermediate First Year (General and Vocational) for the 2026–27 academic year. Admissions to these classes are open to both Minority and Non-Minority students. In addition, applications are invited to fill backlog vacancies in Classes VI, VII and VIII, which are reserved exclusively for Minority students.
To make the admission process easier, TGMREIS has set up Admission Help Desks at all its institutions. Parents and students can apply through the official website www.tgmreistelangana.cgg.gov.in or seek guidance at the Help Desks located at TGMREIS institutions and the Head Office.
TGMREIS is presently managing 205 residential institutions across Telangana, including 107 for boys and 98 for girls. As per policy, 75 per cent of seats are allotted to Minority students and 25 per cent to Non-Minority students.
To improve employability, vocational courses have been introduced in 13 junior colleges. Further, 18 Centres of Excellence have been established to prepare students for national-level competitive examinations such as IIT-JEE, NEET, CA and CLAT, with admissions through a screening test.
