Secunderabad DCP inspects Chilkalguda Police Station

Secunderabad Zone DCP, Rakshitha Krishna Murthy, IPS, carried out a detailed inspection of Chilkalguda Police Station on Monday to assess operational efficiency and law enforcement readiness. She examined all Patrol Cars and Blue Colts vehicles in the division, thoroughly checking AD Drill Kits, vehicle maintenance, operational status of tabs, and Papillon devices. In addition, she reviewed Grave Crime Case Diary (CD) files and Rowdy Sheeter records to evaluate ongoing crime monitoring and investigation processes.

During the inspection, the DCP issued key directives to strengthen policing standards. She issued a stern warning against any involvement in corrupt activities, underlining the need for integrity among officers. Staff were instructed to maintain professional conduct while interacting with the public, respond promptly to Dial 100 calls, and register FIRs immediately based on the merit and seriousness of complaints.

Rakshitha Krishna Murthy emphasized strict surveillance of Rowdy Sheeters and criminals operating through known modus operandi, directing that repeat offenders face stringent legal action. She also highlighted the importance of high-quality investigations in sensitive cases, including POCSO matters, cybercrimes, and property offenses, ensuring that charge sheets are filed effectively to secure convictions. The inspection was attended by K. Shashank Reddy, ACP, Chilkalguda, B. Anudeep, SHO, Chilkalguda, L. Madhu Babu, DI, Chilkalguda, along with sub-inspectors and other staff members. The visit reflects the DCP’s focus on professional policing, public accountability, and enhanced crime prevention measures in the Secunderabad zone.
