Bank of Baroda handsover Rs 1.05 Crore insurance to deceased constable’s family

Hyderabad: Bank of Baroda, under its Special Salary Package agreement with the Telangana Police Department, provides insurance coverage to personnel in cases of accidental death.

In a recent instance, AR Constable B. Rama Naidu from CAR, Petlaburj HQs, who maintained a Baroda Police Salary Package account at the Narketpally branch, tragically passed away in a road accident last year. Following this, the insurance claim was processed promptly.

Today, B Shivadhar Reddy, Director General of Police, handed over a cheque of ₹1.05 crore to Mr. Boya Beechupalli, brother of the deceased, at the Telangana Police Headquarters in Hyderabad.

The event was attended by Dr Gajarao Bhupal, IG Welfare; Ritesh Kumar, General Manager and Zonal Head; Ravi H G, DGM and Regional Head (Telangana South Region); and Sanjay Kumar Prasad, along with officials from Telangana Police and Bank of Baroda.

The initiative highlights the bank’s commitment to supporting police personnel and their families during times of need.
