Bank of Baroda announced on Friday the launch of bob World 2.0, its next-generation mobile banking application. The app was demonstrated to Sanjay Lohiya, Secretary, Department of Financial Services (DFS), Ministry of Finance, Govt of India along with Dr. Debadatta Chand, Managing Director & CEO, Bank of Baroda and Executive Directors of the Bank at the Global Fintech Fest (GFF) 2026 in Mumbai.
At the heart of bob World 2.0 are four key capabilities – voice-enabled payments and navigation allow customers to initiate transactions and access functionalities through voice command; a comprehensive Personal Financial Management (PFM) module that enables customers to gain a holistic view of their finances and improves financial wellness; enhanced hyper-personalisation and persona-based customer experience tailored to individual customer needs such as Senior Citizens, Women, NRIs, Millennials and a multi-layered security framework that provides real-time protection.
Dr. Debadatta Chand, Managing Director & CEO, Bank of Baroda said that with bob World 2.0, mobile banking has been reimagined around the customers' needs, combining financial wellness tools, voice-enabled AI-driven engagement and personalised customer experiences on a single platform.
