Bhatti meets Kharge on Jharkhand poll strategy

Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka called on All India Congress Committee (AICC) President Mallikarjun Kharge in New Delhi on Monday.

In their meeting, Bhatti Vikramarka, who recently traveled to Jharkhand following instructions from the party leadership, updated Kharge on the current affairs of the Congress party and the political developments he observed during his trip.

With the Rajya Sabha elections in Jharkhand approaching, Bhatti Vikramarka informed the AICC chief about his discussions with the state's Chief Minister, Hemant Soren. He highlighted the ongoing efforts to unite all constituent parties of the 'INDIA' alliance in order to create a cohesive strategy for the Rajya Sabha elections.

During this meeting, Bhatti Vikramarka also mentioned the consultations he had with local Jharkhand leadership, which aimed at improving coordination among coalition partners and working together on a joint strategy to achieve victory in the upcoming elections. He conveyed to the AICC President the efforts being made by Jharkhand Congress leaders to showcase the unity of the coalition.
