The state government will roll out the second phase of Bhu Bharati Act in 28 mandals starting Monday, selecting one mandal per district for a pilot project in all districts of Telangana except Hyderabad.
In a statement here on Sunday, Minister for Revenue Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy said that revenue meetings will be held in 28 mandals of 28 districts in Telangana from May 5 to May 20, similar to the meetings held in four mandals of four districts from April 17 to 30th of last month.
He expressed that the primary objective of the Revenue meetings is to raise awareness among the people and gather applications concerning land-related issues in the assigned mandals for resolution.
Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy emphasized that every District Collector must participate in these revenue meetings to clarify any concerns raised by farmers in an understandable manner.
