The Bharatiya Janata Party Telangana unit on Thursday organized a special programme at the party’s state office to create awareness on the “Sapta Sutras” and economic guidelines suggested by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for strengthening India’s economic self reliance and safeguarding national interests through public participation.
BJP Telangana State President N. Ramchander Rao attended the programme as the chief guest and released a pamphlet containing ten key suggestions proposed by the Prime Minister for economic strengthening and responsible public participation. He stated that every citizen has a crucial role in building a strong and self-reliant India under the vision of “Atmanirbhar Bharat.”
He emphasized that encouraging the use of indigenous products, conserving fuel, and promoting domestic investments would significantly strengthen the nation’s economic future.
Prominent economist Professor Dr. Krishna Reddy delivered a detailed presentation on the “Sapta Sutras,” explaining the global economic challenges currently affecting India, including inflation and foreign exchange expenditure. He elaborated on how responsible fuel consumption, promoting natural farming, regulating edible oil usage, encouraging work from home practices, and preferring locally manufactured products could contribute to long term economic stability.
Professor Krishna Reddy observed that the Prime Minister’s suggestions were not merely government policies but a national economic movement requiring active public participation.
He said small lifestyle changes adopted by common citizens could collectively make a major contribution toward strengthening India’s economy. Speaking on the occasion, N. Ramchander Rao said patriotism was not limited to sacrificing one’s life for the nation, but also included responsible living and contributing to national development. He clarified that the Prime Minister’s suggestions were beyond politics and focused on economic security and social responsibility.
