The Bharatiya Janata Party National President Nitin Nabin on Monday asserted that the BJP has emerged as the only credible political alternative in Telangana, declaring that the party alone possesses the strength, resolve and leadership to fulfil the aspirations of the people. Addressing the BJP Booth Pramukh Sammelan in Warangal, he called upon party workers to intensify grassroots efforts with the goal of forming a "double engine government" in the State in 2028.

Nabin said Telangana's long cherished aspirations had remained unfulfilled despite a change in government, alleging that both the previous BRS regime and the present Congress government failed to deliver on people's expectations. While accusing BRS of promoting family centric politics and corruption, he charged the Congress government with focusing more on political interests than governance and public welfare. He maintained that the BJP seeks power only as a means to serve the people and not as an end in itself.

Recalling the BJP's historical association with Telangana, he said the party stood firmly behind the Statehood movement without considering political gains and highlighted the role played by former Union Minister Sushma Swaraj in Parliament during the passage of the Telangana Bill. He also noted that Telangana had elected one of the BJP's earliest Members of Parliament after the party's formation, reflecting a long standing relationship between the State and the party.

Calling booth level workers the backbone of the organisation, Nabin urged every karyakarta to strengthen the party at the grassroots by reaching every household, enrolling every eligible voter and creating awareness about Central welfare schemes. He said the BJP worker remains a full time public servant unlike leaders who become visible only during elections. He also highlighted several flagship initiatives of the Narendra Modi government, including Ayushman Bharat, PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, Jan Dhan Yojana and PM SVANidhi, besides pointing to achievements in national security, infrastructure, artificial intelligence, semiconductor manufacturing and cultural heritage conservation. He also cited projects such as the Kazipet Rail Coach Factory, PM MITRA Mega Textile Park, National Highway expansion and Heritage City development for Warangal as examples of the Centre's commitment to Telangana.

Telangana BJP President N. Ramchander Rao said the unprecedented turnout at the Booth Pramukh Sammelan reflected growing public support for the BJP and expressed confidence that the enthusiasm would translate into victory in the upcoming Warangal Municipal Corporation elections. He credited the Narendra Modi government for sanctioning major development projects for Warangal, including the Rail Coach Factory and the PM MITRA Mega Textile Park, and said these initiatives demonstrated the Centre's commitment to the region's growth. Calling upon booth level workers to remain united and dedicated.
