‘BJP will assume power in all three corporations’

BJP Telangana State President N Ramchander Rao on Sunday expressed strong confidence that the BJP flag is certain to fly high on the three corporations of Hyderabad, Malkajgiri, and Cyberabad in the upcoming municipal elections and BJP Mayors will assume power in all three.

He was addressing a function after inaugurating a newly built BJP party office in Viveknand Nagar under the Kukatpally and Serilingampally constituencies. The land for construction of BJP office was donated by party leader Hanumanth Rao who formerly served as a Municipal Chairman.

The BJP state chief alleged that while the city is already facing a severe water crisis, the government has ignored the BJP's warnings from the very beginning to take advance precautionary measures for flood prevention before the monsoon arrives. He demanded that the Congress government and GHMC answer as to why, despite low rainfall this year due to the 'El Niño' effect, even minor spells of rain are submerging the city and bringing traffic to a standstill.

Rao called upon every BJP workers to work tirelessly to ensure the party’s victory in the upcoming  elections to the Cyberabad, GHMC and Malkajgiri Municipal Corporations.

Referring to Kaleshwaram issue, he said that instead of taking responsibility and addresses the issue sincerely by the Congress government both the BRS and Congress were now indulging in political drama.
