BJP will win in three corporations: Ramchander Rao

BJP Telangana State President N. Ramchander Rao today said that regardless of whether the BRS, Congress, and Majlis join forces or who tries to stand in the way, state capital Hyderabad remains a BJP’s stronghold and added that their party’s symbol ‘Lotus' was bound to bloom in all three corporations located in the state capital because the people desire change and are looking to the BJP as the alternative. 

He made these remarks while addressing the party’s Booth Presidents' Convention held at the Nampally Exhibition Grounds in the city. He alleged that CM Revanth Reddy had turned the GHMC, Cyberabad and Malkajgiri regions into hubs for real estate ventures and reminded that under the previous BRS party’s regime, a single day of rain would leave half of Hyderabad submerged while noting that , now, under Congress rule, even light rain causes roads to become waterlogged and vehicles to get trapped in floodwaters. 

He claimed that this government lacks the sincerity to improve Hyderabad and added that their sole objective appears to be filling their own pockets by turning the city lands into the real estate business ventures. He criticized that amidst the ongoing SIR (Special Intensive Revision) process, the Congress, BRS and MIM parties were deliberately spreading false propaganda against the BJP and added that they were attempting to sow lies among the public. 

He alleged that they were spreading malicious propaganda claiming that the BJP won in West Bengal solely because of the SIR process. He questioned that if that were the case, how did the Congress party win in Kerala? “Any party wins only when it has public support. The BJP succeeded in Bengal because it gained the people's support. Similarly, the BJP is certain to win in Hyderabad and Telangana with the people's support. It is the BJP that will come to power,” he said.
