Former Governor Bandaru Dattatraya felicitated Mettu Bhandhavi, an LL.B. student at Aurora Deemed University, for successfully completing her dream motorcycle expedition from Hyderabad to Ladakh and back.
Bhandhavi, daughter of Mettu Vasu and Mettu Padmavathi, president of Kaladhar Nagar Colony in Musheerabad, undertook the expedition from June 11 to June 27. The journey began in Hyderabad, continued through Delhi, and reached Ladakh before returning to the city. She was part of a 10-member team organised by Bike and Touring Company in association with Mad Over Ladakh. The Hyderabad contingent included Supriya, Karthik, Kaivalya, Mounika, Navya, Pallavi and other adventure riders.
Speaking on the occasion, Bandaru Dattatraya congratulated Bhandhavi for completing the challenging ride and said her achievement reflected courage, determination and perseverance. He expressed confidence that her success would inspire more young people to pursue their dreams fearlessly, embrace adventure with confidence, and bring greater recognition and pride to Telangana and the country.
