Brother killed in family dispute at Rein Bazaar

A family dispute turned tragic after a 22-year-old man allegedly stabbed his elder brother to death during an argument at their residence in Amannagar under Rein Bazaar police station limits on Sunday night.

According to police, the victim, Mohd Habeeb Pasha alias Sameer (25), and the accused, Mohd Farooq Pasha alias Chotubaba (22), were working in a bakery. Family members told police that Habeeb Pasha had recently been returning home drunk and allegedly abusing his mother and sister.

Farooq Pasha had reportedly warned his brother several times, leading to frequent tensions between them. On Sunday night, another heated argument broke out after Habeeb Pasha allegedly abused family members while intoxicated. In a fit of rage, Farooq Pasha allegedly attacked him with a knife, causing fatal injuries. Rein Bazaar Police reached the spot and launched an investigation.
