Aishwarya rules Cannes again

Bollywood star Aishwarya Rai Bachchan finally made her appearance at the 79th Cannes Film Festival, walking the red carpet in a sculptural blue gown by designer Amit Aggarwal. Aishwarya, who has represented L’Oreal Paris at Cannes since 2003 as a global brand ambassador, on Friday greeted waiting photographers with a namaste and posed alongside fellow ambassador and actor Eva Longoria on the red carpet.

Aishwarya Rai, Eva Longoria’s warm reunion 

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s Cannes appearance grabbed attention not only for her red carpet look but also for her reunion with Hollywood actor Eva Longoria. Several videos from the event have gone viral, showing the two longtime friends warmly greeting each other on the red carpet. Before heading up the iconic Cannes staircase, Eva approached Aishwarya, called her “my best friend,” and shared a hug, cheek kisses, and a brief chat with her in front of photographers.

Aaradhya makes Cannes debut with mom 

Aaradhya Bachchan made her Cannes Film Festival debut this year alongside mother Aishwarya Rai Bachchan at L’Oréal Paris’ Lights on Women’s Worth awards. The 14-year-old grabbed attention as she walked hand-in-hand with Aishwarya in a ruby-red gown with a matching cape. Aaradhya, who has attended Cannes with her mother since childhood, made her first official red-carpet appearance at the festival this year
