State Agriculture Minister Kinjarapu Atchannaidu said on Thursday that the Centre issued orders allocating 13,050 metric tonnes of urea to the state. He said that the urea will reach Gangavaram Port by the 20th of this month. The Minister assured that the farmers will get more flexibility with this allocation and that all steps are being taken to ensure that there is no shortage of fertilizers for the farmers.

He said that the government stands firmly for the future of farmers and gives top priority to their welfare. The Minister reiterated that the government would come forward with a holistic approach and with an aim to increase the income of the farmers and provide proper marketing for their crops.
