Chaos reigns during MrBeast’s Ramayana visit

A 3-hour wait for a mega event wrapped up in a 15 minute anti-climax

After a 3-hour wait for the Ramayana mega event at the DNEG office in Goregaon, where Ranbir Kapoor and MrBeast were to come together, everything wrapped up in 15 minutes. The Free Press Journal was present. While Ranbir and Sai Pallavi had reached on time, everyone was waiting endlessly for MrBeast. When the cast, along with director Nitesh Tiwari and producer Namit Malhotra walked onto the stage, chaos had already taken over with the paparazzi clicking away and almost spilling onto the stage. MrBeast says ‘Jai Shri Ram’ In the 15 minutes that followed, Ranbir made Mr Beast say Jai Shri Ram, while Namit announced how The Angry Birds 3 movie is where he (as producer) and MrBeast (as voice actor) shall be collaborating.

MrBeast seemed a bit unprepared and somewhat oblivious. We are not sure on exactly what brief the world’s most famous influencer was given, so it would be incorrect of us to pass any judgement on what transpired. We are therefore just stating MrBeast seemed oblivious to whatever was playing out. Wish someone had briefed us too on the exact itinerary.  Perhaps all of us would then have been more prepared.  

We still appreciate Namit’s apologising to a waiting and taken-for-granted media, who invested good naturedly in this afternoon event.
