The Combined Graduation Parade (CGP) of the 215th course will be held at the Air Force Academy (AFA) in Dundigal on June 14. This ceremonial event marks the completion of pre-commissioning training for flight cadets across various branches of the Indian Air Force (IAF). Air Chief Marshal AP Singh, Chief of the Air Staff, will serve as the Reviewing Officer (RO).
During the event, the RO will formally confer the 'President’s Commission' to the graduating cadets. Flight cadets of the IAF, officers from the Indian Navy and Coast Guard, and one officer from a friendly foreign nation will be presented with their 'Wings' upon successful completion of training.
The top cadet from the Flying Branch will receive the ‘President’s Plaque’ and the prestigious ‘Chief of the Air Staff Sword of Honour’ and will also lead the parade. The top cadet in the Ground Duty Branches will be presented with a separate President’s Plaque by the Reviewing Officer.
The CGP will include performances by the Akash Ganga skydiving team and the Air Warrior Drill Team, along with fly-pasts featuring Pilatus PC-7 MkII, Hawk, Kiran, and Chetak aircraft. Highlights also include aerial displays by the Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team and a demonstration by the SU-30 MKI, adding grandeur to the occasion.
