GHMC Commissioner R.V. Karnan conducted an inspection of various development projects in LB Nagar Zone on Thursday, accompanied by Zonal Commissioner Hemant Keshav Patil. He directed officials to ensure the completion of stormwater drain works and nala development projects before the onset of the monsoon to prevent flooding in low-lying areas. 

During the visit, the commissioner inspected the construction of a 350-meter stormwater box drain from Nagole Sai Nagar to the RTO office, the Uppal SRDP National Highway flyover works, and the sports facilities being developed under the Bairamalguda flyover. 

Karnan emphasized the timely completion of nala development under SNDP and urged officials to report any obstacles faced in the process. He also reviewed the six-block sports facility under Bairamalguda flyover to ensure it benefits athletes. 

The commissioner sought an update from engineering officials regarding the stormwater drain project, which is expected to benefit five colonies and be completed within a month. He stressed that all pending works must be finished before the monsoon.
