Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu conducted a review meeting on the heavy rains lashing North Andhra due to a low-pressure. Officials from the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) briefed him on the current situation in the affected districts and the measures being taken by district collectors and local authorities. 

The CM was informed about the steps to alert residents in vulnerable areas and the declaration of holidays for schools in regions experiencing severe rainfall. Officials also apprised him of crop damage reported in some areas. CM Naidu directed authorities to assess the losses post-rains and ensure timely assistance to affected farmers.

He emphasized the importance of swiftly communicating rainfall updates and safety information to farmers. The Chief Minister instructed officials at all levels to remain fully alert and proactive in addressing the situation.
