CM to launch development projects in Naravaripalle

Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu on Monday arrived at his native village Naravaripalle to take part in Sankranti festivities, continuing a long-standing tradition of celebrating the harvest festival with family members and villagers. The Chief Minister will stay in Naravaripalle for four days, during which he is scheduled to inaugurate and lay foundation stones for a series of development projects in Naravaripalle and Tirupati.

Following a comprehensive review meeting with Ministers, Secretaries and District Collectors at the State Secretariat earlier in the day, the Chief Minister proceeded to Naravaripalle in the evening. He is set to participate in Sankranti celebrations on Tuesday along with villagers, party leaders and supporters.

On Tuesday morning, the Chief Minister will attend Sankranti celebrations at the TTD Kalyana Mandapam premises in Naravaripalle. Later, he will visit the Seshachala Lingeswara Swamy temple, where he will inaugurate a newly constructed road connecting A-Rangampeta-Bheemavaram Road to the temple, built at a cost of Rs 70 lakh.

In Naravaripalle, the Chief Minister will also inaugurate a 33/11 kV semi-indoor substation, a Skill Building Centre constructed at a cost of Rs 1.4 crore to provide industry-oriented training to youth, and projects under the Sanjeevani programme. In Tirupati, the Chief Minister will inaugurate the Patient Attendant Amenities Complex built at a cost of Rs 45 lakh at Sri Venkateswara Ramnarayan Ruia Government Hospital. He will also inaugurate a boys’ hostel constructed at a cost of Rs 7.5 crore and a girls’ hostel built at a cost of Rs 5 crore at Sri Venkateswara University.

Additionally, foundation stones will be laid for a Rs 126-crore project to supply water from the Neeva Branch Canal to Kalyani Dam, Moolapalli tank and four other tanks, as well as a Rs 10-lakh cattle shelter project. At Sri Venkateswara University, the Chief Minister will also lay foundation stones for Centralised Advanced Research Laboratories costing Rs 6 crore, an academic building second floor estimated at Rs 5.03 crore, and a compound wall project costing Rs 2.91 crore. On January 15, the Chief Minister will visit the village deity Nagalamma temple along with his family and offer special prayers. He is scheduled to return to Amaravati later that day.
