CM’s aim is excellence of BC youth: Minister

Handlooms and textiles, EBC, BC Welfare Minister S Savita said on Friday that CM Chandrababu Naidu's aim is the excellence of BC youth in the state. She said that facilities have been provided at the free civil services coaching center at par with the corporates.

The Minister conducted a surprise inspection of the coaching center at BC Bhavan in Vijayawada. She inspected the kitchen, digital library, other rooms and interacted with candidates present there. She enquired about the supply of study material, teaching of teachers and conduct of classes and also about the food and other infrastructure facilities.

The candidates expressed happiness that the teaching and other facilities have been provided at par with corporate training centers. At the same time, the Minister expressed her displeasure over the unhygienic condition of rooms and also poor quality food. The minister admonished the BC welfare officials who were present there.

She said that while the government is providing civil services training to BC candidates with a high vision, it is not right to ignore such a program. Later, Minister Savita had lunch with civil services coaching candidates. Speaking on the occasion, she assured that she would resolve the issues brought to her notice by the candidates.

Minister Savita wished that the aspirants achieve the best results in the upcoming Civil Services written examination as part of the achievement of the goal. She said that if the current batch gets the best results, it will be a boost to train more and more BC youth in the future.
