Vijayawada MP and Andhra Cricket Association president Kesineni Sivanath (Chinni)  said on Friday that it is a "heinous and despicable act" to scare away NRIs who come to invest in the area where they were born and brought up and who wanted to provide employment to the unemployed youth.

Addressing a press conference at NTR Bhavan in Guru Nanak Colony in Vijayawada, he warned of severe consequences if anyone who cannot face him politically tries to block investments. He assured that he will be a special protective shield along with the state government to support every NRI who invests in AP.

More than Rs 7 lakh crore has been invested during the nine-month alliance rule and soon a large number of employment and employment opportunities will be created in the state in a big way, he said. He accused that it was YS Jagan Mohan Reddy who has a history of putting up unaddressed suitcase companies.

The Vijayawada MP further alleged the previous YSRCP government of arbitrarily giving away lands to peethas (religious bodies) and real estate companies. The MP stated that URSA Company has turnover of Rs 3,700 crores and accused YS Jagan and his followers of trying to halt its entry into the state to set up a data center.

He mocked that YSJagan, who has a history of setting up 21 suitcase companies, is now criticising NRIs.They were assured that they could invest fearlessly. MP Kesineni Chinni asked why there was so much vendetta against the state and the unemployed youth.
