NTR District Collector Dr. G. Lakshmisha visited the “RISE” (Rural Incubation Skilling and Entreprenuership) centre in Guntupally village of Ibrahimpatnam mandal on Saturday and inspected various skill development training programs being conducted for women of SHG and interacted with them. The Collector enquired about the experiences and opinions of the women undergoing training. Observing the training programs in Fabric Painting, Beautician and Magic Weaves Machine, he urged the women to take advantage of these opportunities and become financially self-reliant.
The Collector stated that women can enhance self-employment opportunities through skill development and such trainings can play a crucial role in improving the economic status of the family. Similarly, the Collector also inspected the "AI for Sure" program being organized in collaboration with Scintilla firm. Stating that it is commendable to educate women on modern technology, he also directed them to develop digital and artificial intelligence skills as per the needs of the future.
