‘Crazy Kalyanam’ to release on October 16, Naresh confident of its success

Metro India News | Hyderabad : The upcoming family entertainer ‘Crazy Kalyanam’ is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on October 16, coinciding with Dasara. Dr. Naresh Vijay Krishna, Anupama Parameswaran, Tharun Bhascker and Akhil Uddemari play lead roles in the film directed by Badrappa Gajula and produced by Boosam Jagan Mohan Reddy under Arrow Cinemas. Naresh described it as an honest entertainer blending humor, emotion and relatable family relationships. Set in a village-based middle-class family, the story explores the emotional struggles between parents and children.

He expressed his belief the film’s natural characters and heartfelt narrative will connect with audiences across generations. He praised Tharun Bhascker’s portrayal of Balraju, Anupama’s relatable character and Akhil’s performance. He also compared director Badrappa’s storytelling approach to legendary filmmaker K. Viswanath, appreciating his ability to combine nativity with emotional depth.

A major attraction is a six-minute sequence in which Naresh portrays all nine emotions, or Navarasas, through interactions with nine characters amid approximately 350 people. Despite initial nervousness, he completed the challenging scene in a single take. Naresh also praised the producer’s dedication and expressed confidence in the film’s success.
