CS and DGP inaugurate New Udbhav School Campus in Fatehnagar

Director General of Police, Dr. Jitender, IPS, underscored the importance of identifying and nurturing the innate talents of students

A new campus of Udbhav School, dedicated to providing education to underprivileged children, was inaugurated on Wednesday at Shastri Nagar in Fatehnagar, Hyderabad. The initiative, undertaken by the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad Alumni Association – Hyderabad Charitable Trust (IIMAA HCT), was formally inaugurated by Chief Secretary to the Government of Telangana, K. Ramakrishna Rao, and Director General of Police, Dr. Jitender.

Retired IPS officer S.V. Ramanamurthy and fellow IIMA alumni and board trustees—Shanmukh, Harish Kumar, Sitaram, and Sri Harsha have collectively taken the initiative to establish the school. The Udbhav School aims to impart quality, value-based education from LKG to Class X, particularly targeting children from the slum areas of Rasoolpura and Fatehnagar.

Chief Secretary Shri K. Ramakrishna Rao emphasized the transformative power of education and expressed hope that Udbhav School would nurture the hidden potential of children and enable them to lead successful and meaningful lives. He reiterated his support for initiatives aimed at the betterment of underprivileged students.

Director General of Police, Dr. Jitender, IPS, underscored the importance of identifying and nurturing the innate talents of students, likening it to the legendary strength of Hanuman that was revealed only upon realization. He praised the IIMA alumni for their commitment to creating a brighter future for children through this noble educational endeavor.
