Celebrity coach Dr. Sangeetha Kosuru inaugurated the D Sons Patola Arts Textile Exhibition, located at the Labels pop-up space on Road No. 1 in Banjara Hills on Monday. After inaugurating the exhibition, Dr. Sangeetha Kosuru said ‘It is commendable to display various Patola art sarees, Patola handloom and silk fabrics at one platform.’ Dr. Sangeetha Kosuru said that everyone should visit this exhibition, which is organized to provide direct access from the weaver to the consumer, and encourage it further.
Bhavin, the organizer of D Sons Patola Arts, said that 10,000 types of fabrics such as Patan Patola, Bandhani, Paidhani, Banarasi, Zari Kota, Chanderi, Maheshwari, Kashmiri woven fabrics, Lucknowi, Kanchipattu, Venkatagiri, dress materials, Ajrak sarees, Kurtis, bed sheets and jewellery will be available as special collections in the exhibition, which will continue till August 7. He explained that the main social objective of this exhibition is to promote weavers and provide a market for the handloom industry.
