Lloyd Healthcare Founder Vikram Narayana Rao emphasized the venture as a social responsibility to shape tomorrow's students
In a major departure from traditional Intermediate colleges that laser-focus solely on JEE, NEET, and similar entrance exams, Dhanik Bharat Educational Institutions are set to revolutionize education by introducing early orientation and guidance for the Civil Services—one of India's toughest competitive exams—right from the Intermediate stage. This innovative approach aims to nurture well-rounded aspirants equipped for public service, leadership, and nation-building, distinguishing Dhanik Bharat from peers confined to rote exam prep.
Lloyd Healthcare, the renowned pharma group from the Telugu states led by eminent industrialist Vikram Narayana Rao, is making a landmark entry into education with the launch of Dhanik Bharat Educational Institutions from the 2026-27 academic year. Initially rolling out 16 Intermediate colleges across Hyderabad (six campuses), Vijayawada, Guntur, and Visakhapatnam, the initiative targets a total strength of 500 students per college, starting with MPC and BiPC groups.
Lloyd Healthcare Founder and CMD Vikram Narayana Rao emphasized the venture as a social responsibility to shape tomorrow's students. "Our vision transforms classrooms into startup launch pads, preparing youth not just for exams but for leadership, entrepreneurship, and nation-building," he said. Drawing from his industry expertise, Rao envisions a 'Dhanik Bharat'—a developed India rich in knowledge, prosperity, technological capability, ethical living, and strong social systems.
Academic Director Balalatha Mallavarapu, fondly known as Balalatha Madam in Civil Services coaching circles, brings her proven track record of mentoring numerous IAS and IPS officers. "We'll integrate rigorous academics with student-centric support, shifting from rote to smart, thinking-centric learning," she noted. Beyond JEE and NEET prep, future plans include Civil Services orientation to build analytical skills, discipline, and ethical foundations early on.
Backed by a stellar Board of Directors—including like Vikram Surendra (creator of the elite 'Zonal Batch' with 100% medical seat success), K. Sambasiva Rao (institutional strategist), and others with decades of experience in producing top IIT-JEE and NEET rankers—the institutions emphasize low student-teacher ratios for personalized mentorship, stress-free environments, regular counseling, and holistic development encompassing life skills, emotional resilience, and employability in emerging tech landscapes.
