Give back to society, exhorts Swami Bodhamayananda

Swami Bodhamayananda, President, Ramakrishna Math, Hyderabad advised students of ICFAI Law School to not only by pursue personal success but also by give back to the community. He noted that true education empowers individuals to serve society and work for the welfare and upliftment of the nation. He was speaking at ICFAI University in an event organised by Meraki Cultural Club on the occasion of Swami Vivekananda Jayanthi, with the theme “Ignite the Self, Impact the World.”

A special highlight of the programme was a thought-provoking skit performed by law students, focusing on self-confidence and inner strength, inspired by Swami Vivekananda’s ideals. The powerful performance captivated the audience and received enthusiastic applause, leaving a lasting impression on everyone present in the auditorium.

Prathap Reddy, Dean, ICFAI Law School, highlighted that even in today’s globalised era, Swami Vivekananda’s teachings continue to play a crucial role in nation building. His vision of youth-driven development, ethical leadership, and service-oriented education remains highly relevant in addressing contemporary social and national challenges.

The programme was organised under the guidance of Dr. A. Arun Kumar, Dean – Student Activities, ICFAI Law School, with the active support of the Meraki Cultural Club. Dr. Renu Bala, Faculty Co-ordinator, Meraki Cultural Club, coordinated the event. Faculty members, students, and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.

The programme concluded with a call for young people to adopt Swami Vivekananda’s ideals of character, service, and dedication, and to work collectively for a strong, self-reliant, and progressive India.
