Dr Ajai Kumar Agarwal, National President, International Chambers of Public Relations, and recipient of the Bharat Gaurav Award conferred at the British Parliament,  presented a cheque of Rupees One Lakh on Saturday to Dr Chandrakant Agarwal, President, Thalassemia & Sickle Society, Telangana, as a gesture of support for patients suffering from Thalassemia and related blood disorders.

He presented the cheque on the first day of the Asian Thalassemia Conclave 2026, a two-day conference being held on January 10 and 11, 2026, in Hyderabad. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Ajai Kumar Agarwal lauded the dedicated work carried out by the Thalassemia & Sickle Society, Telangana, under the leadership of Dr Chandrakant Agarwal. 

He described the organisation’s efforts as true service to mankind, highlighting its continuous support to economically underprivileged patients battling the life-threatening disease of Thalassemia. Expressing his gratitude, Dr Chandrakant Agarwal, President, Thalassemia & Sickle Society, Telangana, thanked Dr Ajai Kumar Agarwal for his generous contribution and concern for the downtrodden.
