Lok Sabha MP Dr. Kadiyam Kavya has spotlighted the Government of India’s youth empowerment initiatives in Telangana, especially Warangal, through a question in Parliament.
She urged the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports to share details on schemes promoting skill development, employment, and entrepreneurship.
In response, Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya outlined key national programs like the Rashtriya Yuva Sashaktikaran Karyakram (RYSK), National Service Scheme (NSS), and Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat).
The MY Bharat Annual Action Plan 2025-26 for Telangana includes the Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam campaign, Skills for Success vocational training, district-level sports meets, and Viksit Bharat - Yuva Utsav to boost leadership and civic engagement.
Dr. Kavya also drew attention to flagship initiatives such as the Khelo India Scheme, Fit India Movement, the Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP), and the Skill India Mission. Additionally, the newly launched Rs 2 lakh crore Prime Minister’s package aims to skill and employ 4.1 crore youth over the next five years.
