Dr. Srinivas Kaveti was honoured with the Nelson Mandela Award in Oxford, United Kingdom, for his contributions to international human rights, legal reform, and justice advocacy. The award was presented by the Right Worshipful Lord Mayor of Oxford, Lubna Arshad, during a ceremony marking Nelson Mandela International Day.

The event coincided with the 72nd Miss World competition and included dignitaries such as Agathe Cauet of France and Stella Michailidou of Greece, reflecting a broader global commitment to Mandela’s legacy. Ms. France also attended in solidarity with the event’s theme.

Dr. Kaveti, Principal Partner at Kaveti Law International, spoke on the enduring importance of Mandela’s ideals: “Mandela’s legacy reminds us that justice must never be compromised. Our efforts in the legal fraternity must always strive to give voice to the voiceless.”
