Actor, producer, and maternal rights advocate Neha Dhupia is set to reignite her widely praised initiative, Freedom to Feed, for World Breastfeeding Week 2025. The campaign will feature a fresh series of candid and powerful conversations, welcoming new voices to the movement.

Launched in 2019, Freedom to Feed was inspired by Neha’s personal journey into motherhood and her commitment to normalising public breastfeeding—free from stigma, shame, or judgment. Since then, the platform has grown into a collective space for shared experiences, honest dialogue, and solidarity among mothers and caregivers.

This year, Neha will engage in meaningful digital conversations with celebrated actors Radhika Apte, Yuvika Chaudhary, and Sonali Sehgal. These discussions will explore themes such as body autonomy, societal pressures, and the emotional realities of motherhood. The conversations will be shared across Neha’s social media channels throughout the week.

Freedom to Feed has garnered support from prominent figures in the entertainment industry, including Bipasha Basu, Freida Pinto, Soha Ali Khan, and Dia Mirza, all advocating for open and empathetic dialogue around breastfeeding and maternal health.

Speaking on the campaign’s revival, Neha Dhupia said: “When I first launched Freedom to Feed, it came from a deeply personal place—feeling vulnerable, judged, and isolated during what should have been the most natural and empowering time of my life. Over the years, I’ve realized how many women share these feelings and how powerful it is when we come together to share our stories. This year, I want to make the conversation louder and more honest. No woman should ever feel ashamed for simply feeding her child. This is about choice, dignity, and respect—and it’s time we all stand up for that.”
