Kriti Sanon: It will always be special

As Bareilly Ki Barfi completes nine years of its theatrical release on August 18, the film continues to remain special to audiences and Kriti Sanon. Released in 2017, the film featured Kriti as Bitti Mishra, a spirited young woman from Bareilly. The role gave Kriti an opportunity to showcase her acting abilities and connect with audiences through a rooted, small-town character. Reflecting on the film, Kriti said, “Bareilly Ki Barfi was one such role” that allowed her to perform and be noticed as an actor. She added that she wants to keep evolving with every film. “Bareilly Ki Barfi will always be special to me,” she said.
