Kapilavai Dileep Kumar, State President of the Telangana Rashtriya Lok Dal Party and former MLC, expressed concern that Telangana, which was achieved through relentless struggle, is now stagnating. He alleged that under KCR’s family rule, the state has fallen into the clutches of authoritarian control, and emphasized that it is the responsibility of every individual to protect Telangana. On Saturday, he inaugurated the new district office of the Telangana Rashtriya Lok Dal Party at Mamillagudem in Khammam city.
Speaking at a press conference on the occasion, he recalled his role in the movement for achieving a separate Telangana state, stating that the agitations carried out along with KCR had surged powerfully across the state. He criticized KCR for going back on his promise made during the movement that a Dalit would be made Chief Minister and instead continuing with family rule. He alleged that under KCR’s governance, the state has failed to progress in various sectors and has instead stagnated.
He further stated that the current government led by Revanth Reddy, which claims to bring “Indiramma Rajyam,” should function according to the will of the people and warned that no government can survive in the long run if it continues anti-people policies. He added that his party is closely observing the latest political developments in the state and will stand by the people, striving to resolve their issues through continued struggle.
